What Does a Mutation Do to Your Pet Speed?

Pick a pet and a mutation tier — this calculator shows the final speed and where it ranks against every other pet, mutated or not.

The Formula

Final speed = Base speed x Mutation multiplier

Five tiers exist: Shocked x2, Volted x3, Rage x4, Void x10, Eternal x100. A x100 strike on a mid-tier pet moves it past unmutated god-tier pets — that is why storm events matter.

Why This Calculator Matters

The F2P ceiling question has a surprising answer after mutations: an Eternal Cheetah (3.84M speed) outruns an unmutated Phoenix. Mutation rolls effectively let mid-tier pets skip rarity tiers — if the storm lottery cooperates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do mutations stack? No — one mutation per pet, and new strikes only upgrade the tier. See the mutation system guide.

Which pet should I mutate first? The one you ride daily. Mutations on ranch-only pets still help income cycles, but mount speed is the everyday payoff.

Is Void (x10) enough? On a Kitsune or Dragon, x10 is game-breaking. On starters, even x100 barely reaches Cheetah base.
