What Are Radar & Track in Ride A Pet?

Radar helps you locate egg spawns on the map. Track lets you select a specific egg target and navigate to it. Together, they form the core navigation system for egg hunting.

How Radar Works

The Radar is a tool that detects nearby egg spawns:

Feature Details
Usage Activate from inventory or hotbar
Effect Shows direction/distance to nearby eggs
Limitations Limited uses, cooldown, or duration
Upgrades Better radars available in Gears stall

Radar Tiers

Radar Rarity Price Notes
Advanced Entry $50 Basic detection
Royal Epic $20,000 Practical starting point
Magic Legendary $300,000 Strong detection
Eternal Eternal Check in-game Top tier
Divine Divine Check in-game Premium
Ethereal Ethereal Check in-game Ultimate

Note: Radar stock is limited. Check the Gears stall for current availability and prices.

How Track Works

Track allows you to select a specific egg as your target:

  1. Open Track panel (usually on HUD)
  2. Select an egg from the list
  3. Follow the indicator to the target
  4. Race to the egg before other players

Egg Spawning & Rotation

Eggs spawn throughout the map and rotate on a countdown:

Egg Type Value Range Spawn Location
Common Eggs ~7M Various map locations
Rare Eggs ~100M Specific zones
Legendary Eggs ~100B Rare spawn points

Track stall in the central market shows current egg rotation. If the board is thin, wait for the reset rather than burn a radar charge on a cheap egg.

Optimal Egg Hunting Strategy

Step 1: Check Track First

  • Open Track panel
  • See what eggs are currently available
  • Select a target worth pursuing

Step 2: Use Radar Wisely

  • Don’t waste radar on common eggs
  • Save radar charges for rare/legendary targets
  • Use landmarks for common eggs instead

Step 3: Plan Your Route

  • Choose a repeatable route with landmarks
  • Avoid detours while carrying an egg
  • Know your return path to My Plot

Step 4: Race Efficiently

  • Use your fastest pet
  • Avoid obstacles and unnecessary jumps
  • Watch for other players racing to the same egg

Radar & Track Tips

Save Radar Charges

  • Use Track to see if target is worth radar
  • Common eggs: use landmarks
  • Rare/Legendary: use radar to locate quickly

Monitor the Track Stall

  • Eggs rotate on a timer
  • Wait for good eggs rather than wasting radar
  • Check back after rotation

Coordinate with Radar

  • Radar shows direction/distance
  • Track shows specific target
  • Use both together for efficiency

Common Mistakes

Mistake Better Approach
Using radar for every egg Save radar for rare targets only
Ignoring Track panel Check Track first to select worthwhile targets
Not knowing the route Practice routes without eggs first
Wasting radar on cheap eggs Wait for better eggs in rotation

Radar & Track FAQ

How do I get a better Radar?

Purchase from the Gears stall with in-game currency. Better radars have stronger detection.

Is Radar worth buying?

If you do many egg runs and struggle to find targets, yes. Otherwise, use landmarks and Track.

How often do eggs rotate?

Eggs rotate on a countdown at the Track stall. Check the timer in-game.

Can I track multiple eggs?

Track typically allows one active target. Switch targets as needed.

Does Radar work in all zones?

Radar detection range may vary by zone and radar tier. Better radars detect farther.
