What Is the Rarest Pet in Ride A Pet? - Odds Explained

What Is the Rarest Pet in Ride A Pet?

The Dragon — 1 in 5 quintillion from map eggs. For scale: the Kitsune, already a statistical miracle at 1 in 1Qi, is five times easier. The only reason anyone owns a Dragon is the 1% Robux Dragon Egg.

The Rarity Leaderboard

Pet	Odds	Context
Dragon	1 in 5Qi (map) / 1% (Dragon Egg)	Also Rebirth 7 gated on the map path
Kitsune	1 in 1Qi	Rebirth 5 gated
Cerberus	1 in 70Qa	Event egg territory
Unicorn	1 in 1T	Rebirth 3 gate
Cheetah	1 in 7B	The F2P ceiling

Rarest Is Not the Same as Strongest — Except Here

Usually rarity is cosmetic. The Dragon is the exception: it is simultaneously the rarest pet and the best earner at 300M $/s, plus second-fastest at 300M speed. The Kitsune vs Dragon breakdown shows the one tradeoff (1B speed versus 3.3x income).

What the Numbers Actually Mean

• Hatching a map Dragon at x1 Luck is not a grind — it is a statistical impossibility for any human schedule
• Even x100 Luck leaves 1 in 50Qa: beyond any farming plan
• The 1% Dragon Egg is the only realistic door, and it is a fixed-odds gacha with no pity (full table)

Does Luck Make the Dragon Achievable F2P?

Honestly: no. Luck divides the denominator — it never multiplies your patience. If you want a Dragon, budget for the Dragon Egg; if you want the rarest free flex, the Kitsune is the achievable summit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Cerberus rarer than the Dragon? No — 1 in 70Qa is five full orders of magnitude easier than 1 in 5Qi.

Can mutations make a common pet rarer than a Dragon? Mutation rarity is a separate axis — any pet can roll an Eternal x100, and the simulator shows how unlikely that is.

What is the rarest pet a free player can realistically get? The Cheetah by farming; the Kitsune as a months-long project.
