What the Index Is

The Index is Ride A Pet’s built-in collection tracker — the tab in your ranch menu that logs everything you have discovered and pays you for it. It has three separate tabs:

• Pets — every distinct pet you have hatched
• Eggs — every egg type you have found in the world
• Mutations — every mutation tier you have applied

Every new discovery registers automatically the moment it happens, and reaching milestones pays out bonus cash. The earliest one most players hit: $15,000 at 8 discoveries — a meaningful injection in your first session.

The Index turns casual collecting into a second income stream. The payouts are not huge individually, but they stack:

One Rule That Protects Your Progress

Register discoveries before selling duplicates. A pet only counts toward the Index the first time you hatch it — but if you hatched it, it counts forever. You can safely sell every duplicate after the first hatch of each species. Selling your first-ever copy of anything is the only Index mistake that actually costs you.

Eggs and Mutations Tabs

The Eggs tab fills as you find each egg type in the world — Stone to Dragon, every egg location counts. The Mutations tab fills as storm strikes land on your pets (all five tiers). These two tabs are slower than the Pets tab by design, but their milestones still pay.
